Direct,

This stand is mostly Entophyte free Fescue and Orchard grass. We apply 100 potash 100 Urea after every cutting. This is stand is say18 inches tall right now. We move these calves 2x per day just giving a little bit of pasture each time. As soon as we get a very hard frost this fescue will be just like candy to these calves. I am done with this pasture for the season so we are simply grazing it to the ground and will worry about it next year.
Trick is you can not give them much room when the grass is this call as the calves just stomp it down and do not pick it back up the best especially if they have dirty feet.

I assumed it was fescue, I have some very similar stockpiling right now.
