SW Ohio | I know what you're going through, only mine is the left leg and L4/L5 herniated disk. Been this way since at least 2014 as that was my first MRI. Been through their therapy/wellness program ever since and its not better. Just had another MRI done and it seems to be getting worse. Surgery scheduled for 11/4. Just going to cut off herniation for now. Doc says 10-15% chance of re-herniating within 6 months. Then 50% of those that have second herniation will do it a 3rd time, then he fuses them together. 80% chance I will get use of my left leg and foot back. Kind of hate the proposition of back surgery at only 31 years old, but don't want to live the rest of my life with no use of left foot and constant pain shooting down left leg. 80/20 odds in my favor, I'll go with the surgery. | |
