don't really have anything to add, your post just got me thinking what ol' mr. peak corn might be up to nowadays.

Was thinking the same thing. When challenged, the American farmer ALWAYS finds a way to produce more bushels and take all the profitability out of farming. History has shown us that the farmer will ALWAYS find a way to make up for any shortcomings within a few years. Peak corn was a fantasy concocted by someone that doesnt have any understanding of history.
