The newer DJI drones seem to be using I-phones for monitors. I have an older Phantom 2 with a larger monitor. But, for the newer ones I assume they expect you to use your iPhone for the monitor.

So, what happens if you get a phone call while flying? Will that disturb anything?

Also, it appears if you use any kind of protective case as we do on all our phones, it may not fit in the newer DJI controller cradles.....right?

So, can you get an I-phone (Verizon?) dedicated for just monitoring? Does Verizon have some kind of program for that? Does the iPhone need full service to act as a monitor?

Just wondering.
