Illinois | Deere went to SeedStar 2 in '09, planters with this will have a green wedgebox mounted on the back of the planter. In 2011 they introduced SeedStar2 with SeedStarXP. This planter will have a black wedgebox (SS2) and a silver wedgebox (XP) which is bolted onto the flip side of the SS2 controller. Since yours is a '12 it will be SeedStar 2 (black wedgebox) but not necessarily have XP functions. You'll need to check for that silver wedgebox. | |
