I always boil LOTS of peanuts for the family around Thanksgiving, about 25 pounds. Eat some, freeze some, send some home with visitors.
Today I was in our local produce joint, and saw some beautiful goobers, very large and nice, and on sale.I bought 25 pounds, and am wondering how to keep them fresh until Bird day, which is about 6 weeks away.  
Love boiled  peanuts, usually takes all night to cook that many,but worth the work.
Thoughts on storing them for a while ?
