Anything you can do on EZ Guide Display to fix HIGH DOP Message. Will disengage EZ-Steer and a couple seconds later allow you to re-engage. I understand what DOP is but just wondering if anyone else has seen this message or has a fix?
DOP is a function of the satellite constellation (satellite availability and/or satellite position), so if you're getting high DOPs, you either have to add more sats to your constellation (i.e. by adding GLONASS, if your receiver supports it (the EZ-Guide Plus does not)), or you have to get the existing satellites into better position - this is generally accomplished by waiting for the satellites to reach new positions in their orbits. |
