Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | Just nothing in the world as fortunate for kids as to have great-grandparents in their lives. I had two great-grandmothers till I was half grown; my kids lived within a mile of their great-grandparents till they were almost in high school. Not sure exactly who enjoyed it more......Grandma and Grandpa or the boys. So good for the kids to have that exposure to a generation that saw so many changes in farming and life. |
