Texas/New Mexico Stateline | They are pretty nice. They are heavily insulated as they were refrigerated with ice back in the days. The walls and ceilings are about 1ft thick so you lose a lot of storage space.
Couple of problems, you cannot keep mice out as far as I can tell. And they are getting old enough the roofs are starting to get leaks due to rust.
There are hundreds of them in this area because I believe they decommissioned a bunch of them in Clovis, NM which was a major railroad hub for the Santa Fe.
