Subject: Havent seen hard yet?

Oklahoma
Had to sell my wheat for $2.65 to make a land payment. If that ain't hard, then this young farmer will be out of options in 12-18 months. Current prices are unsustainable, at least for a wheat farmer. Then you factor in the bloodbath the cattle market has turned into and it's hard to see how this will ever recover. It's going to take several hellacious years to climb back out of this hole. The pity is that the hole was dug on a bumper crop.

Maybe the corn boys have had it easier getting 4 times the yield on a commodity with the same or better price the HRW. There farmers already having to liquidate right now down here. Going to be a lot more sales over the next couple years going at this rate.
