Subject: RE: deflation the end game, or deflation then hyperinflation?

Pittsburg, Kansas

It is important to point out that I do not claim to have any answers. I'm just discussing. My views have changed considerably over time and likely will continue to evolve.

I do not have any hard and fast answers. I only know that if I ignore what is going on around me it likely will end up worse for me than if I have at least some insight of what is happening.

Whatever evolves is likely to be messy and anything but straight forward. Who would have guessed ten years ago that we would end up with Fed short term rates at essentially zero and a significant portion of foreign bonds yielding negative rates? How could a person ten years ago have guessed we would be where we are?

So in my opinion what a person "knows" is not as important as keeping an open mind to a wide variety of potential outcomes that likely will surprise.
