| Do a check on your DNS - domain name system(service) - speed of your computer to convert web-site human-friendly names (ala www.agtalk.com) into computer-understandable IP addresses (eg - AgTalk.com = 45.33.120.175)
Computers only understand IP addresses by numbers, not names. The DNS service on your computer uses the internet's DNS "translator system". If your computer does not know what to point your web-browser to, your computer will just sit there and look at you.
My suspicion is that somehow, your DNS settings got hi-jacked. Some program you may have installed told your computer "here, use my DNS system to resolve your web-addresses." And, if that DNS system is not up to snuff, your computer is slowing down, waiting for directions.
Do a speed check, then set your router's DNS addresses to the speediest reported.
