The older generation is less likely to think about funeral planning. I remember a friend talking about "official grief period" complete with wearing a black armband.
Wife and I have talked and we put our wishes in writing. Sent each of our kids a copy so all know our wishes. I guess when we did some estate planning, it seemed natural to plan for the end.
