NW Washington | Well Chris I think it is up to you and you wife to get the job done since no one else wants to take responsibility and no planning was done. Just make a decision and do what you think is best for all concerned. And don't let the funeral home talk you into spending a small fortune. Some will probably be bummed, but let them be bummed. Life goes on.
I glad that my tough mother wrote down what she wanted done and told us all several times. She wanted immediate cremation and no funeral, only a graveside service. And she got what she wanted.
So now some of the rest of us should be making some plans and letting folks know what we want.
