I forget, but hired someone to merge with similar setup a year ago..... it was by the hour..... Some basic numbers like $40/hr for tractor and similar for merger, plus man...... so $100/hr is arrived at very quickly.  At that rate I think you would have a lot of work lined up if with experienced operator.... maybe$150/hr

But like someone else said, $15/acre..... that's a similar number used for mowing, so can't be too far off?  I would think that the per acre charge would end up being significantly more than $100/hr



Yes. We usually charge $10 per acre (only when in front of our own chopper) but it can still work out to over $200 per hour.
