Is there a secret to changing concaves in a 9860 STS?

I never unbolt them all at the same time .
Open concave up full rotor in neutral

Unbolt middle concave remove it , unbolt front concave replace it tighten up the bolts , remove back concave replace it the put middle one back in tighten all the bolts .
That way you never have to fool around with that plate being loose or trying to get pins back in .

Sometimes 2 people make it easier but most of the time I've done it alone .

Put some cardboard over conveyer augers too helps


That's how I learned to do it. Deeres Harvester Support taught me way back when on the first 50 series rotors when they came out.
