Subject: RE: What to charge for filling a silage bag

Nebraska
I pay $6.50 a ton for 8 row new Holland chopper with 3 20 ft wagons and 2 newer T series on them plus one of our tractors. I also paid for fuel when they left farm. No bagging in that price. I felt it was very reasonable. But This is only my 2nd time having silage done for myself but it's a very short haul and guys have learned that when they pull in here I'm ready and will do whatever it takes to get them to the next job.
