I consider that typical Intuit.  Years of experience with Quicken has taught me if you change operating systems upgrade to the latest version or something will not work right.  Several years ago I bought a new computer and installed my old version of Quicken.  Everything worked perfectly ... until the night before I was to meet with my accountant to do taxes.  I hit print and it just looked at me.  I had all the data, I'd looked over every report, but not made hard copies (save paper and all that).  I finally got the newest version and it worked like it as supposed to.  I'd expect nothing less from Quick Books



+1 Couldn't have said it better. We use it because many clients use it and it is pretty ubiquitous (maybe that's the right word). Hands down it's the most expensive, temperamental software we use and has zero tech support. Our other software that costs that much has almost 24/7 unlimited tech support.
