Amherst WI | I agree. It takes the right landlord to work together with a guy to accomplish this though. If the LL only wants maximum rent then chances are it isn't going to work out for either party long term.
I'm trying to understand your logic of your response Lawfarm. You want a soil test, then when you have it you don't want to follow it because fertilizer is relatively cheap?
I just got samples back the other day. K was 56-275 PPM or 2.3-12.3% since you are going to ask. P is 21-234 PPM. Averages would say this field needs very little if only maintenance amounts of fertilizer, when sampled by grids (or zones) certainly tells a different story. I fail to see how your fertilizer is cheap, set it and forget method makes any sense no matter what price fertilizer is or who owns the land. | |
