I think the steam flaked corn here comes from the valley there, so it's another $17 per ton just for the extra trucking.
$25 for processing hm corn seems like a lot. We're going to try doing some this year. I think we can get it milled and in the bag for under $20.
You might be right at $20/ton at 15% moisture. Either way, add shrink, risk, ownership, etc. If it's that close, I take the sf corn. I do like hm corn better. |
