The math

Stand count.

17.5ft of 30" rows x1000 = stand

Exp you count 140 you have 140,000 stand.

140000 x number of bean seeds per plant / estimated seeds per lb / 60 = SWAG Yield and a good waste of time.

A 140,000 stand
with 70 beans per plant
9,800,000 Bean seeds per acre.

Now of the seed size is 2800 = 3500# /60 = 58.33bu
Drop the seed size to 2200 = 4454# /60 = 74.24bu
Up the size to 3300 = 2969# /60 = 49.5 bu

I would rather spent the time prepping the combine and truck ect then counting pods.......
