Dumping on the go was really considered careless or bragging at the time. People going by would always stop and watch.
My dads opinion was, however, that using a tanker and handling the grain bulk should not slow down the process compared to the more common machines where grain was bagged. They ran continuosly.
Some crops we had to bag. Like in the pic. harvesting yellow mustard.
The M-H 890 was the French manufactured version of the US model 90. It had a nice 6 cyl. Chrysler engine humming softly on the front axle beneath you.
