Hadn't made sense to me either, we are a few days to a couple weeks from the first killing frost here, and then freeze up hard over winter, nothing emerges from the ground green until May some years, late March rarely. Spraying a field would be a waste of product time and money up here in the north, so I was assuming it must be a pasture. This would be a good time to kill some per annuals with a 24d or other broadleaf spray the roundup would be pointless this time of year.
A here and there type of thing once again.
