It was good to see the sun today and some wind helped start drying things out after a lot of rain. I opened up more grass for both groups. Some of the younger cow and heifer group just wanted to enjoy the sun for awhile. A very nice evening as the older cow group moved into fresh grass. This is the same Alfalfa, red clover, brome, orchard, timothy mix discussed in an earlier post on seeding pastures. Something always seems to be in season with this mix. The township road crews were spreading gravel and fixing washed out roads all day. They really do an amazing job in our town. Some cattle pictures from today.
