most times we get what we call satellites, hamburgers in buns with alittle ketchup and a pickle wrapped in aluminum foil, bag of chips, and a cold drink,  my wife works a full time day job, with variable hours, so we let it slide.    but if she has had a easy day, she can whip up some truly fantastic meals, some of our favorites are these; pork loin cutlets tenderized with a meat hammer, breaded and pan fried. barbequed chicken thighs and leg quarters, pulled turkey that's been brined and smoked for sandwiches,  pork dressing,  homemade sloppy joes, homemade beef stew, lasagna, bacon wrapped brats.
