Brickset and bricklink is what I've been using as a comparison to ebay. I just don't understand why so many eBay sellers seem to be disconnected from reality. There is no Lego shortage, but they price used sets at a premium. Just today there was a large lot of about 12 different sets. 9 were mini sets with 3 small sets. I'd say the minis were worth about $5 and the smalls were worth 15-20. The seller was asking $220 plus $12 shipping. I made him an offer I thought was kinda high of $100.... he wrote me back and lowered his price to $210........

I'm wasting my time there. There is no way in heck he will ever sell what he had there for that much money....it's delusional. I guess I see Legos as toys, yet they think they are rare collector items.
