East central South Dakota | Sell the physical, buy back on the board. Only good until expiration of the month you bought. Sell corn off combin in November and buy back March corn, you own your corn until March contract expiration. Can do with futures contracts or, as has been explained here recently- with options. Take the amount of storage money you'd pay putting grain on dp and buy a call for approximately that. If market goes up, your grain is gone and you make it back on paper. |
