SE Iowa | More variability here then in 2014. I averaged 253 bu in 2014, my best by 30 bu, and every acre was consistent across the fields. This year across one pass I get 200 to 270 on corn on corn. The dry June took the top off on my south and west slopes on gently rolling land, simply because of more exposure to the sun. I saw this in drought years of 77, 87,88,89.. Corn will still be my second best ever. Have not been in beans yet but guys that have are saying very very good. | |
