Subject: QuickBooks Pro start-up problem



Chebanse, IL.....

I've had QB Pro 2011 since....2011 I guess. Always worked fine. Switched to Win10 last yr & QB Pro made the switch just fine also. I use it daily for farm checking, etc.

Today I went to open it & it wouldn't open. I saw the icon flash on the screen, then an MS message came up saying there was a problem with the program & Win would check & see if they could find a solution. They didn't I guess. The only choice given was to "close the program". I didn't need to since it didn't open. I retried several times, same results. I tried opening from places other than the start icon & it wouldn't. I rebooted the computer 2x & still no go. Everything (files) is backed up so I can sleep easily, but what should my next course of action be?

Should I UNinstall QB, then reinstall it? Does that work? Again, this is QB Pro 2011 running on Win 10. It's worked fine for years until today.
