I have been seeing an advertisement on TV promoting the "  POWER PRESSURE COOKER  ". This is an electric pressure cooker that promises quick, tender cooking of just about anything.
Now for years I have remembered my Mother and Grandmother used a large pressure cooker on their stove, it was used in their arsenal of kitchen gear.
Any thoughts on this procedure ? A local older lady,long regarded as one of the best cooks around, says this electric cooker is the cat's meow.Very impressed by how good the food was cooked, with some speed. Her husband says it has her seal of approval, and I know first-hand she is hard to please in her kitchen,I have eaten there several times.
Anybody bought one of these  electric cookers?  They are about 100 bucks on tv.
