Subject: RE: DOT sitting up at elevator

greg33 - 9/20/2016 19:53 maybe overweight on tag but unless the elevator recorded the vehicle id and /or trailer id and or fifth wheel setting and # of axles and distances between axles and also the drivers license of the driver for each ticket. I don't know how an elevator ticket would be valid evidence for overweight on axles or bridge or would hold up in court with an impartial judge.

The bean processor in MN that I have been to records the license plate numbers on the ticket along with how many axles the truck has.

I'm assuming that the state requires it.
