No argument except when the farmer traded the tractor in, that was a sale and he had to get a lien release. If there was any shortage in collateral the discussion with the bank should have taken place at that point.

I would think most banks would require crop insurance and have first dibbs on that.

No argument that a bank needs to have adequate collateral coverage.
