I spent a couple years on an audit committee. Of course bank examiners always had to find something wrong. Would not be doing their job (or at least they would have no proof for their boss they were doing their job) if there were no deficiencies found in the examination. We could always figure on at least a couple places where a loan officer would forget to cross an "I" or dot a "T" would show up. If they could not find anything else, they could always dig long enough to come up with something to put in their report. John |
