Subject: RE: Banking Question

Missouri
It is not just crops. I am involved in the hog industry. Within a year there will be hog buildings selling for 10 cents on the dollar. One big banker told me well at least you are not in the cattle industry. I know there are people on here that think life is great and that farming will never lose money. I am on the camp that says at least in Nebraska (because of high taxes) we will lose at least 60% land valuations. We will lose 25% of farmers and the domino effect of that will be we lose at least 1/3 of the schools in the rural areas. I agree, I know those farmers that have their heads buried so far in the sand. Guess what? their bankers are going to grab them by the scruff of the neck and pull their heads out of the sand and after harvest when they start sending out registered letters.
