I have an 8" Dell tablet that is about 2 years old and use it everyday.  Sometimes wish it was a little bigger, but is very good for its size.  Also have a 13.3" Dell 7000 2n1 that  is used as my everyday computer.  Both meet most of my needs, lite weight and fast.  Have never used an iPad so no help there.
