NE Oregon | In the process of using a radish/turnip/triticale cover crop mix to take out a stand of alfalfa. We feed all the hay we produce. Normally we plant one crop of a grain hay and then back to alfalfa. But this is the first year of using a cover crop. My question is, using the cover crop (seeded on the 20th of July) could I just go straight back to alfalfa next spring and not have any problems with the stand? Or do I still need to keep out a full season before going back to alfalfa? | |
