Nc I'm not looking for sympathy, just trying to give a perspective. I have had friends and acquaintances struggle with many physical issues and nobody in their right mind goes to them and tells them all you need is a relationship with the Lord. I'm just tired of the attitude from certain groups that don't understand psychological conditions and the harm they do to people when they offer Jesus as a cure. It is debilitating to a person suffering from depression who now has to deal with the guilt induced by what is implied.

I believe in God and the infallibility of scripture. I believe we struggle in correctly interpreting scripture. I am not a practicing believer.
