You will not be happy seeding after soybeans in sd. Be a waste of money. If you want to seed this fall wait to do dormant seeding ground below 50 degrees. I'd wait till spring as expensive as alfalfa seed is. In fall needs to be seeded first couple of weeks in August to ensure stand survivability
