West Central Nebraska - Sandhills | How does a guy market to be in that top end year after year? What are the 'big guys' doing different? We feel like we are finally consistently producing high quality calves with good uniformity, an excellent herd health program, and an overall powerful group of calves every year. We don't quite hit 100 calves, we are strictly commercial, and I doubt a single feedlot in town knows who we are. How do we market better than running ads or dropping them off at what we think is the best sale barn? Do we approach feedlots? If so, how? Do I need to start figuring out how these hedges and stuff work? Because embarrassingly enough I don't have a clue.. |
