Fruits, veggies, etc. Kinze was working on an autonomous system too. For sure they are issues to work out, but they will get them to the point where they are better than human operators eventually, especially low skill operators. They will be cheaper than a regular tractor as you won't have the design limitations or extra expenses associated with an operator. As far as moving them from field to field, I could see some type of small pilot vehicle that hooks into the electronics and drives directly in front of it. | |
