North East Texas | I can't believe this is the direction agriculture is going. With all the gps and auto everything already out there, the farmers workload is tremendously reduced. Now the farmer isn't even going to be in the field. So, how is this going to work when a bolt or chain or hydraulic anything breaks ? The outfit continues on ? Causing more damage to the equipment ? Not accomplishing the task it's supposed to do? Are they going to put a sensor on every possible breaking point on every piece of equipment? What happens when the sensors fail? I foresee some 2 dollar part breaking and putting 400K worth of equipment in a ravine. If you don't even want to be in the cab of your tractor or combine, why are you even farming ????? I know I'm going to get flamed for this but here goes. If you are trying to cover so many acres that you need this for "family" time, it is probably time to reevaluate your priorities. | |
