Warren County, Mo | The reason I'm asking is this is going to be an expensive change. The novel will run us about $86.00 per 25 lb bag, so basically the seeding alone is $86.00/ac. That's before the spraying, or other costs.
I know the pastures are infected, my weight gains alone prove this out. no pinkeye, no other health issues, eating well, including daily grain and supplement and only getting barely 1lb per day when I should be getting 2 1/2 lbs a day.
I have no issue killing it off this fall and replanting with a wheat, but the agronomist didn't think wheat would provide enough of a cover to keep any new fescue seedlings from growing, unlike the canopy effect of beans.
