Subject: Isn't the Oct insurance price the target?

Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
Does anyone want to hazard a guess what proportion of the corn crop is insured at the spring $3.68 price? I would assume a good deal of it but don't have any information. And isn't the payout a function of the bushel guarantee times the shortfall in price? So it does matter what your actual yield is?
So don't those with revenue insurance receive some cash this fall? And assuming that the powers that be will want to minimize the insurance losses, can't we expect at least one opportunity to sell in Oct. (minus the basis that is)?
