True enough. But think about it. If the average city homeowner uses his mow 30 minutes/week for 40 weeks/year that is just 20 hours of use per year. If the mower lasts for 7 years that is just 140 hours of use. That doesn't seem just to bad.

I am a bit different in that I still have the $80 push mower I bought new in 1966. Still does all the trim work, still starts on the 1 or 2 pull and still uses no oil.
Maybe 5-10 oil changes in it's life.
