Tomball,Texas
I noticed some volunteer rye grass coming up a couple weeks ago in Grimes county after a big rain,Never seen it that early around here.
I usually feel safe planting oats and rye grass here after I see that it has snowed in Denver ,looks like it'll happen before I'm ready I'm still trying to get my second cutting of hay put up,too wet to cut.
Two major floods about a month apart late spring early summer, managed to cut weeds with some over mature Bermuda grass in it early July ,then no rain and hot with ground cracking, now rain at least every other day for the last two weeks, beats all I've ever seen.
