Ours sit N-S and are probably ~6' apart but we don't put hogs in there.   Just some grass/weeds that occasionally get mowed.   We just drive in with the hogs to bed and clean between groups.


Never had a problem with snow that had to be removed.   Actually there is enough wind between them that very little snow stays between the buildings.
