East Central, IA | I do the exact same thing with a neighbor. I own a pasture that borders her place. She has a hydrant in the fence line from back when the two farms used to be together. I pay her $150 a year to use it. My cattle are only there for about 4 months and I bet they only cost her about $20, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than drilling a well or building a pond. It's a good arrangement for both of us. | |
