Re tomatoes and potatoes. As mention before how much fertilizer also, how much scarce water resources are used how much erosion results how many chemicals required such as herbicides, fungicides and insecticides. how much in fossil fuels to plant, cultivate, harvest, market. The list goes on and on. An acre of tomatoes is a lot of work.
How should this be handled?
