+100 on cattle's ability to produce a healthy useful nutritious food from land that might otherwise be unused. Buffalo roamed much of this land and helped make it the productive prairie often used to raise cattle.

Not a very productive topic for discussion however as there are examples of misuse of land for most all crops. As in many of this type of argument, you can find evidence to support about whatever point one wishes to make.
