Sadly, more and more farm land buyers have nothing to do with farming. With the stock ,market getting shaky, more and more big money people are moving their money to land. They don't have to go to the bank. The Gates Foundation bought a big chunk of ground near here just a few years ago. I think that is what will keep the prices up.
Will they even loan the money?
